Cantors: Patricia Bradley, Patricia Withrow

Rehearsal:
St. Denis Adult Choir
Mondays - 7:30 PM in the church choir loft.

Saint Denis Adult Choir:
Consider joining our choir - it is a nice group of people who enjoy singing - come to our first rehearsal - we need newmembers. MEN - we especially need your voices to give some balance to our group - you'll find the "guys" and "gals" great to work with!! We are all looking forward to meeting some new people. We are also looking for children (grades 5 and up) to let us know if they play an instrument. If any child would like to join a group to play at Mass (on set times and dates), pleas let Tom Dugan know or call the Rectory (781-3326-5858).

PARENTS
We would like to form a St. Denis Youth Choir (Grade 2 and up)
The children’s choir was good sized, wonderful and they sang at Mass often; therefore, it is hoped that we can start a Youth Choir once again and encourage our young parishioners to take part. If you have a child (or children) that would be interested, please Email me at tdugan8073@aol.com.

Rehearsals will take place on Sunday mornings from 10:30 to-11:15 am in the Church Hall. When the group is established, we will rehearse only on the Sunday before our Mass
performance. Hope to hear from many of our parishioners – it will be an “awesome” experience for our young people.

"Welcome one another, then, as Christ welcomed you, for the glory of God." Romans 15:7

We, the people of St. Denis Parish, recognize our call to grow as a faith community. Accepting the privilege and challenge of this call:
--- We celebrate our life of faith through parish liturgy with full participation of the laity;
---We endeavor to respond, in a Christ-like way, to the needs of all by living the message of the Gospel through a variety of outreach programs. One such program is the Ministry of Greeters/Hospitality.

Greeters' Mission Statement

Our mission in the Greeters Ministry is to enrich the life of each person entering the doors of St. Denis Church by welcoming and supporting them in a positive, friendly and spiritual manner. The Greeters' goal is to have attendance at Liturgy at St. Denis' Parish be an enjoyable experience for our regular parishioners and any visitors who are with us.

Purpose

We have all come to share our stories in many unique ways through our Stewardship of Time,
Talent and Treasure. Creating a warm, loving, nurturing and welcoming church is important in our ministry.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide an enthusiastic, positive, spiritual and friendly welcome to each person entering Saint Denis before every worship service and special service. Greeters are responsible for establishing that "first impression" for those entering God's house. Their ministering abilities in welcoming Parish members into the Church creates a warm sense of personal worth in those they greet and for all the prayerful activity to follow. Stewardship and Hospitality are intertwined. This ministry is based in gratitude for God's boundless generosity. We are committed to help make every worship experience at Saint Denis positive and spiritually uplifting for everyone, at every service.

Activities

This ministry is designed to be supportive and sensitive to the needs of the church and the congregation by assisting the ushers, pastoral staff and other ministries as needed. Opportunities will be available for the greeters to assist before and after each worship service.

Key Responsibilities

--- Greeters welcome parishioners and visitors as they arrive at the church.
--- Greeters open doors, help the elderly, and on special circumstances work hand in hand with our
Ushers as they help in seating arrangements and guide parishioners during the liturgy celebration
---They answer questions concerning the parish, committees, and the community.
---They distribute weekly bulletins and, on occasion, other 'hand-outs' appropriate to the occasion.
---They SMILE :)
